Only lasted about 30 minutes, but during that 30 minutes it was effective.

I used this for a large sternum tattoo and it worked well. My pain tolerance is pretty high but the initial line work of the tattoo was more than I expected so I bought this to make the next session easier. I applied it thickly to my skin about 2 hours in advance and covered it in plastic wrap until I got to the shop. When my artist started shading I couldn’t even feel anything – I was so amazed! It started to wear off about an hour in, but the pain was still much less than without it. I highly recommend this for tattoos less than a couple hours long – any longer and the effect will wear off. It also changes your skin texture while it is working/effective, so make sure your artist is used to working on numbed skin!

Used this for a small tattoo. Let it sit for an hour. Tattoo took a little over two hours and it started to wear off toward the end. It worked so well. Most of the tattoo was not bad at all. Only some parts hurt. Wouldn’t do another tattoo without this

Got my nipples pierced and applied it every 45 minutes for about 3 hours (long wait due to busy shop) and just threw a piece of Saran Wrap under my shirt to cover it. Was pretty nervous but legitimately did not feel a single thing! 0/10 pain. It hurt more once it wore off than the actual piercing process. Was pleasantly surprised and impressed. Definitely recommend.

Used this product to micro needle and for joint pain relief. It works but doesn’t last long, maybe 20 minutes or so but still a good product and have purchased twice. Wish there was something stronger.
Ivannah Robinson –
It is east to use however make sure you wrap yourself up tight & apply The cream & allow it to sit on your body for as long as your going thru the tattoo (for ex: apply 2-3 hours before tattoo for it to last a total of 2-3 hours) cream starts to wear off the more it’s wiped off.

There have been plenty of products for numbing pain but after using this before tattoos it took away 90% of the pain. Just put it on thickly where you want it around 20-30 mins before the appointment with some plastic wrap wrapped right around it. Just don’t let the artist know you had it on as many roll their eyes at you because you didn’t do it the hard way they did it

10/10 works, put it on 2.5h before my spine tattoo and I could only feel the vibrations and the spots I accidentally missed, I couldn’t believe it worked as well as it did, will be using this again for my next one !

I bought this to use for getting tattoos on sensitive areas. You are to apply a generous amount to the desired area and let it dry for about 30 minutes (the longer the better though) before wiping the excess off. It actually does help to numb the skin but only for a little period of time. For example, I got a tattoo on my foot and the cream kept the area numb for about an hour or two. But you also have to consider the fact that the skin is sterilized prior to the session starting, and excess ink wiped off during. It’s definitely worth the buy and try.

4 month old ear piercing!
I love this product. I used it to pierce my 4 month olds ear and to numb the lobe so she wouldn’t feel too much pain. I applied it and let it sit for 20 minutes. I then wiped the area and sterilized it. My little girl cried for a total of 3 seconds and then composed her self. I think the initial sound and pinch made her cry more than any pain she felt! Great product and made me feel comfortable piercing my daughters ears knowing she wouldn’t be in to much pain

Heat is essential
I did three small test patches before I finally got it to numb my skin properly. Just slathering on a thick layer and wrapping in cling wrap isn’t enough. You must use a heating pad along with it.An hour before I had to leave for my appt, I applied a thick layer over my forearm. Wrapped in cling wrap, then laid down with a heating pad over the area, lowest setting. I used an infrared heating pad, but I’m sure a regular one would work too. After an hour, the whole area was numb. I could feel pressure, but no pain. About an hour after that, I was getting tattooed and it felt like nothing UNTIL they went over the outline in the center of my forearm. That one area wasn’t fully numb and quite sensitive, but everything else was a breeze. Tattoo session lasted about 1.5 hours. Five hours later, certain parts are still totally numb and other parts have a dulled sensation.Bottom line: it works but you MUST use heat. I highly recommend an infrared heating pad if you can afford it.

I scheduled a tattoo for along and under my collar bone and knew I had to order something because I wouldn’t handle the pain well. This was the first thing that came up in my Amazon search and was much cheaper than Dr. Numb or any of the other name brand numbing creams. I had a 3pm appointment and started putting on thin layers of this cream at 12:30pm every 30 minutes. I didn’t wrap the area at all but was consistent with the application up until right before I walked in the shop. I could feel the needle, especially directly on my collarbone, but it was a faint annoyance at most. I sat through the whole 90 minutes with no issue or pain, I’ll 1000% be using this again.

This took me two tries to get it to work correctly, but when it did it was PERFECT and I couldn’t feel a thing during my tattoo. First application error: I applied the cream and wrapped (my wrist) with saran wrap, but did not close off the ends of the wrap with tape like some of the reviews suggested. I guess air was able to enter in through the gaps of the wrap. Luckily I had enough time to apply a second coat, re-wrap, tape up the ends, AND hold my hand over my wrist to create some heat (I did this part for the last 25 minutes or so before my tattoo). This worked perfectly and numbed the area 100% for the tattoo and it stayed numbed for hours afterward. My arm was well hydrated from the cream and recovery was effortless. Highly recommend!

I have not used it for a tattoo, have several and have never used it even on my larger pieces… I was told about this stuff by a friend however and used it on my feet before a wedding that I was in where I had to wear 6” heels for 7-8hours straight. You MUST follow the instructions but to be completely honest I completely forgot I was wearing heels up to the last hour or so. Night full of dancing and standing in ridiculously uncomfortable shoes almost completely pain free!

WOWW. I RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!
(girlfriends review)I put this cream on (thick layer, seran wrapped) at 8:40, my tattoo apt got moved to 11 instead of 10, but we didn’t even get started till 12. When I tell you this stuff works,I MEAN IT!!!! I do not have any pain tolerance whatsoever, I have a very hard time getting tattoos. But after using this stuff,I am no longer stressed! It seriously felt like a vibration, and any spots that didn’t get AS numbed just felt like a very very very light hot itch!! It seriously worked till around 2!! I was shocked, I literally kept falling asleep it was that good! Calmest most stress free tattoo of my life 🥰 cannot wait for my next session! And no it did not mess up the ink at all.

I got this originally for mosquito bites because I started having a bad reaction to them. Swelling, intense itching and pain. I have tried Benadryl spray and Cortisone cream. Nothing else worked. So I researched Lidocaine etc for anything to numb those areas. It’s not 100 percent effective when first applied, but pretty close. It gets better over time. I’m going to try it for nerve pain next. It has been a godsend for relief. Definitely worth the money.

It was used to numb an area on a back for tattoo work. It lasted for about 45 minutes before it wore off.

If you have ever thought about getting a tattoo and are hesitant due to the discomfort of the pain. lay your fears to rest this will definitely help, it also costs a fraction of what the parlors sell theirs for and this actually works.

So I used this stuff to numb both my arms and hands for my tattoo appointment since I was getting half sleeves on both. I put this stuff on VERY THICK 2 hours before my appointment and wrapped it in Saran Wrap. First off, I didn’t even feel like it was doing anything at first because my arms and hands didn’t feel numb so I thought I was wasting my time. But let me tell you!!! I went to take the wrap off and I couldn’t feel ANYTHING. Got through the first half of my appointment so easy I couldn’t feel a thing. My tattoo took about 5 hours so halfway through it wore off and I could feel everything which sucked but I wouldn’t have made it all the way through without the first half being a breeze. If you’re skeptical JUST BUY IT!!

I bought this to see if it would stop pain in a nerve that has been very painful. It worked – for a small bit of time. It means I have to keep applying it about every hour or less to get relief. I googled for “strongest pain cream” or something like that, and this is one that came up. In my case, it is not the strongest, even though it has given me a bit of relief.

I was extremely nervous for my first tattoo and immediately started looking for a numbing cream. An hour and 45 minutes before my session I put the cream on after reading some other reviews. I rubbed in a small amount then slathered a generous amount on top and wrapped it with plastic wrap. I literally didn’t feel a thing my whole session. I’d highly recommend this cream to get over the first tattoo jitters and/or help with the pain.

I got this for my sternum tattoo which took about 4 hours. The numbing cream lasted for about 1 hour. The description DOES say that the peak lasts for an hour also so I guess it did what it was supposed to do. I would NOT recommend it for any tattoos lasting longer than 1 hour but your outcome may differ from mine so try it if you want 🤷🏽♀️

I read the reviews. After a ton of research, I decided to get this product. I was a bit nervous about getting my first Brazilian (if you’ve gotten one, you know how painful it can be). So I got this product 3 days before, and decided to test it out first.I did a patch test, no weird reaction. SO I gave it a full go (external only — it does not go inside, please be careful with this product)Instructions on box aren’t really specific, so I did more research. What worked for me:1. 1hr and 15 mins before Wax: With gloves- apply a thick layer of cream throughly on area. Do not rub in, let it sit. Cover with plastic (saran wrap or a plastic bag — get creative). You should feel a tingling sensation — it should not burn!2. 45 mins before Wax: apply a second layer of cream throughly on area. Do not rub it in, let it sit. Cover with plastic. You should be pretty numb by the time of your Wax.IMPORTANT: I told my waxer I had used the cream. She said she would test the temperature of the wax near an area of leg where it’s not numb (((( to avoid getting burnt ))) It’s important to let the waxer know, otherwise it can go bad really quickly. The waxing pain was 1/10 (I could still feel the pull of course, but it was not unpleasant) It def took the edge off! And I will be using it for my following appointment in the next couple of weeks.Keep in mind that every skin/body is different and the pain tolerance is diff too.I hope this review helps!

I’m logan’s wife, and I bought this for my second brazilian wax. I went through the first one with no numbing, and it was torture. It wasn’t terrible, but the same pain for about 30 minutes was too much. I was really determined to go stay with it, but I knew I would need an effective numbing cream to be able to do so.Soo, I read lots of reviews. Watched tiktok’s, youtube videos, and I landed on this as the best option. And here’s what I did to feel literally 0% pain I am telling you. Was 100 times better than my first appointment. And I cannot imagine going without this.*Heres what you do!*:One hour before your appointment apply this all over. I used a cut up trash bag in a rectangular shape and put that over the cream and let it set for an hour. I but my pants and underwear back on to further help it set. 30 minutes before my appointment, I took some Tylenol and applied a second coat. I never put it on too thick. I’m sure I have about 75% of the container left. I covered it again and wore it like that to my appointment.Once at my appointment, I wiped off the cream with a wet towel, dried it off with a dry side of the towel and that’s it. It was literally perfect. The numbing lasted throughout my appointment and a little after. So I’d say for around 45 minutes to an hour.Hope that helps!

I bought this as my first time trying a numbing cream when getting a tattoo. I feel like in comparison to previous appointments without any numbing agent it did help. I do wish that the effect lasted longer considering how long most of my tattoo sessions are. I definitely did not completely numb the area only helped with some pain.

I bought this a month ago to get tattooed around my birthday. I know, I know, I know you’re supposed to take on all of the pain and tough it out. However, I really didn’t feel like sitting at my job and going into a trial in pain. I can confirm 100% that this works now maybe I have a high pain tolerance for the product helped, however, I sat through a whole chest piece session without taking a break. Would recommend.

I purchased this cream because I was getting a large tattoo on the left side of my back. It doesn’t completely numb you, but it easies the pain significantly. I usually had to apply two applications to get it to work. It doesn’t last that long though. Maybe about 30 minutes. We had to tattoo in sections.

Okay, so I know there are people that say “pain of a tattoo is a right of passage.” F that. I’ve used this numbing cream for only 3 out of my 20 tattoos. When I was 18-30 sure, a 4 hour session was a walk in the park. Now that I’m in my late 30s, my body just doesn’t react the same anymore. My body has a wicked inflammatory response to injuries, surgery and certain foods. Full body pain EVERYWHERE.I just sat for 4.5 hours with a tattoo artist that I used for the first time. I’m so thankful that he actually open to using Lidocaine spray in the middle and end of his tattoos. He likes to really beat that color in with beautiful shading.Lidocaine always me to relax a bit and keeps my body/muscles from being coming a ball of HATE!You can still feel it btw. Some areas were less numb then others. You’re pretty good for the first 2 hours.I applied this 2 hours before appointment, wrapped in plastic wrap, reapplied again an hour before and kept it wrapped until I got to the shop.People with Fibro, RA and other inflammatory/autoimmune issues need this sometimes.Stop the lidocaine hate lol

As I say when I reviewed this previously, this cream works well at reducing the nerve pain of shingles on my face. It absorbs and dries quickly and the relief lasts about an hour, maybe a bit longer. It is a tad expensive. I’d like to see it a few dollars cheaper. But it is the best cream I have found yet for dealing with facial pain due to shingles.

THIS PRODUCT IS INSANE. READ BEFORE USING.OK so I just got my first Brazilian wax ever and the girl doing my wax told me that she’s never seen someone cope with it so well. I’m shocked because I usually have a super low pain tolerance and I feel like I owe it all to this numbing cream. i’ve gotten a bikini wax before and it was so painful probably like a seven or an eight out of 10 pain wise. with this cream it was like four or five pain level. Insane. I applied the cream to the areas I was getting waxed and then I wrapped it with cling wrap and left it on for about an hour. when I arrived to my appointment I took off the cling wrap in the bathroom and wiped down and it worked so incredibly well! I’m so happy I found this cream. A must buy.

I’m not gonna post a picture of my wax strip. However the cream works. Wen I first tried it I put it under my number arm for the hairs there and it didn’t work. I had it on for 5 to 10 minutes it didn’t numb it. It still hurt lol and I also didn’t use Saran Wrap. I finally brought Saran Wrap and I put it alll over my private to do a Brazilian. I put it all over. I was a little nervous because I got sensitive skin and idk if it was break me out for mess up my PH balance. But I left it on for about 3 hours. Watched some tv, and then took a nap and 3 hours passed. On god I was tweezing my hairs with no problem 😂😂😂😂 tweezing ur part not there hurts. But with the cream I was just tweezing out mad hairs. Don’t get me wrong you still feel the little pain in ur part wen ur waxing. But u don’t feel it as much as u usually will feel it without the numbing cream. Honestly I let my man’s wax me. I apply the hard wax and have him rip it off. We did my wholeeeee VJ this time. We did the lip. We never do the lip because I can’t take that part. We be leaving that part hair asf. But now my VJ smoothie😎. I missed it. moral of the story I saved my self 65 dollars from European wax Center😁

This product definitely works but if you are doing a big tattoo I recommend starting half of the tattoo first with the numbing cream then halfway through start numbing the other half because it lasts a little over an hour…I literally did not feel anything for that first hour, I also recommend the spray. I left the cream on for almost 2 hours and wrapped it with saran wrap

Easiest tattoo I ever got! Half the time it felt like he was just shaving my arm with an electric razor. The healing process was great too

i had a late night tattooing session so when this arrived around 2 pm i tried it out. i sathered a good amount on a small section of my arm, wrapped it for roughly an hour and a half and when i took the wrap off it was completely numb. that was 11 hours ago and its just really starting to feel again, so an hour before my tattoo appointment i applied a good good chunk of this stuff to the area and wrapped it. low n behold I FELT NOTHING THE ENTIRE TIME (4.5 hrs) only thing i felt was what i would compare to someone scratching me with a fingernail as my artist went over my hip bone but thats it, even stomach and pubic bone was painless. i was also going to get more done so i applied and wrapped to another section but we didnt end up getting to it so it stayed wrapped until the very end. I’m curious to see how long 5.5 hrs of marinating will effect the area. but all in all, seriously put this in your cart right now..actually you know what skip that and just hit buy now, i promise you won’t regret it!!

Used this when I was getting the rest of my throat tattooed!(I did two sessions without it and tapped within a hour) with using it the third time we were able to knock out the rest of the shading and white! However, when we used the solution to wipe the ink off spots the numbing almost instantly stopped working so we had to dry wipe the rest, didn’t matter at the time but sucked after the fact! Also know your limits because we went a little too far and my body was basically having shock symptoms the next day, because of how much we were able to knock out and all that jaz! Totally fine now (that was more my fault then anyone else, just trying to help!)

guys. i am in shock that this stuff actually worked. i really thought it was going to be like a placebo. let me tell you how i put it on.830: applied first layer of numbing cream generously and wrapped with plastic wrap920: applied second layer on numbing cream and wrapped better. i also put a sweater on as i read that that may help1030: unwrapped and wiped off cream. at this point my arm felt very numb. when i poked it with my nail i could feel it but it didn’t necessarily hurt1130: tattooing process has started and i did not feel ONE thing! i’m seriously not kidding. i looked away and didn’t even know that my artist started tattooing me!1200: started feeling the sensation and a little bit of pain, but not terribleby the end of my tattoo, i definitely felt it but i know that i wasn’t feeling the pain to the max. it was very very very bearable. it honestly feels like i was getting my arm scratched! it was kind of soothing honestly lol! i seriously recommend this stuff. my arm stayed completely numb for about 45 minutes while getting tattooed and then was significantly lowered pain about 1.5 hours in. my tattoo only took about 2 hours! apply correctly and you’ll be golden!(btw this was my first tattoo and i don’t have the highest pain tolerance. i’m okay with shots and i have my ears and nose pierced which honestly i would say hurt more than getting my tattoo!)

I was skeptical especially when the tiny bottle arrived, but it was the first time I ever used anything before a tattoo and couldn’t believe what that little bottle was packing! I was amazed because I really didn’t feel the tingling it talked about so I didn’t believe it worked until that needle hit me. It really worked! I didn’t feel a thing. Just remember to keep it on for 2 hrs before your tattoo begins.

Most of these reviews are great. Others, not so much. I wasn’t sure what to expect. Going into my tattoo, I was so nervous the cream wasn’t going to work and I was going to be in for a painful few hours. I have plenty of tattoos that I’ve gotten without numbing cream, but I knew I wouldn’t be able to do my stomach without the numbing cream. I lathered the entire little bottle onto my stomach and covered it with Saran Wrap for an hour. The numbing cream lasted about 3 hours, but for the last 30 minutes of our session, it wore off and I was in terrible pain. Overall, it lasted me majority of my session and for that, I’m grateful. I would highly recommend this for any tattoo, especially if you’re getting your stomach done!

I HAVE NEVER LEFT A REVIEW ON AMAZON BUT with how amazing this is, I just have to. THIS REALLY WORKS. I used this to get an industrial piercing, a piercing I have ALWAYS wanted but have been too scared to get. Trust me, I was so scared I almost cancelled the night before the appointment. I applied this at 12:45 and was pierced around 2:30. I applied liberally to my ear and then saran wrapped it, waited about 15 minutes, used a blow dryer to heat up the cream, and then applied a little more, and covered it back up with saran wrap. I had the cream on for 30 minutes and then washed it off before heading to the piercer. First pierce on my top ear, I felt NOTHING. I was so shocked laying in that chair, I couldn’t even feel the needle. Second pierce on my middle ear, I felt slight pain and the needle go through, but I rate the pain a 4/10 and I do NOT have a high pain tolerance. I’ve found stubbing my toe more painful than the piercing. I will be using this to get so many more piercings now that I feel like I’ve unlocked a life hack to getting piercings!

I was APPALLED at how very tiny this jar is but it had great reviews so I thought I may as well give it a chance. My heart sunk as I remembered the review that instructed to spread it on “like frosting on a cake.” I also thought of all the reviews that suggested two coats. Since I was planning on using it to give myself a Brazilian (sugaring, not waxing), I wasn’t taking any chances. I imagined that I would use up most of the tiny bottle, considering that I had already made the attempt twice (without numbing cream) and failed miserably. It even occurred to me that I wouldn’t be saving all that much (over salon prices) if I couldn’t get it all done on the first try and would need to do the whole thing all over again! It works! It works like a miracle! I spread it on, not thick at all but thick enough to make sure it got to the skin (I did trim first but well, you know). I remembered the reviews that said not to rub it in too much, just leave it on the surface, so I did. I couldn’t figure out how to cover it with plastic though so I got a large plastic bag (similar to a garbage bag) and cut out leg holes. I wore that for 20 minutes and went to put on another coat. I was already numb! I couldn’t feel a thing but even so, I wanted the 2nd coat, hoping it would reach a deeper level and to make sure I was as numb as possible. Again, I put my plastic bag back on and waited until I washed that off about 15 minutes later and was TOTALLY numb! I’m happy to report that I completed the ENTIRE job and barely used about 1/8 of the bottle! I do have a few strays and a couple of small patches left but that’s no fault of the numbing cream, sugaring is hard! I could have easily gotten a new glob of sugar and kept going but I figured that was enough for one day (it’s not good to keep going over and over the same area) and I’m not afraid anymore! I wouldn’t need to numb the whole area to do the rest anyway, just a few patches; in fact, I likely wouldn’t need it at all for the small amount left. I was numb for a good 40 minutes after, when the cooling cream I bought for the occasion started to kick in. Now I’m not saying it was pain-free, it was still painful, but a MILLION times better than my first two attempts!I was originally looking for numbing cream for derma-rolling and I wanted to try it on my face first but once I got my sugaring recipe right, I just couldn’t wait to get it done! Sorry to write a book here but I just couldn’t be happier! It costs about $80 to have a Brazilian sugaring at the salon and I did my own for less than $5! Sure, I could use a few touch-ups, but I’ll be doing that in my own time, by myself, for pennies! I spent about $2.50 for the amount of numbing cream I used, a tiny amount of Finipil Lait 50 (antiseptic cream that cools, soothes, moisturizes, protects against infection, reduces ingrown hairs, and according to some reviewers, slows hair regrowth), a small amount of my sugaring mixture (2 cups sugar, 1/4 cup fake lemon juice, 1/4 cup water- simmered until it turns the color of dark ale), one rubber glove from a pack of 10 pairs from the Dollar Tree, and a large Goodwill bag! I WILL be buying this again!I’ll update when I get around to derma-rolling for those of you buying this for that purpose but if your intent is having a Brazilian, do it!UPDATE:I never got around to doing those last few little patches (it wasn’t a vanity thing, it was a comfort thing and they didn’t bother me) but I’ve redone the whole thing again today. I wondered if two coats were really necessary, or if the plastic was really necessary, but I didn’t want to sit around naked to test it so this time I used a Walmart bag to cover my crotch and put on some big granny-panties to hold it in place under my pajama pants. In some places I was nearly numb after 20 minutes, but in others, not so much. I opted for the 2nd coat and repeated the process. I waited almost 20 mins and was pleasantly numb. Sure, it still hurt like hell, but I was able to get through an ENTIRE self-Brazilian sugaring wax! Since the hairs were shorter and hadn’t completely grown in yet (it wasn’t as thick), I’m almost bare now! I didn’t want to keep going over parts that don’t matter much (the upper line that always bleeds) so I still have a few strays there but again, that’s because of my sugaring method, not this numbing cream. I will DEFINITELY keep buying this! Now that I’ve figured out a cheap way to do away with pubic hair, I will NEVER go back to the irritation of dealing with it. See my review for Finipil Lait 50 if you’re interested in using that in combination with this.

I put a good amount of cream on 2 hours prior to my appointment, and covered it. I didn’t feel like outlining to any of them, it was great. But I felt most of the shading on them . I still give it a 5 star because I didn’t feel a drop of pain until the shading , it was great.

I never write reviews good or bad…unless it’s really awful. This is a miracle worker. I got my third tattoo yesterday. First was on my forearm no problem and second was on my ribs cage and that was was unbearable. I knew I wanted this one on my spine which is also known to hurt. I put it on before I left the house (20 minute drive) then again prior to walking into the place. The tattoo was done about 45 minutes later and COMPLETELY tolerable…almost felt nothing! Worth every penny. You won’t regret it.

Even tho the jar is small, still get it. You really don’t need a lot. apply, wrap & sit, apply 30 minutes later & wrap again & you’ll be numb
